Where should I sell magic related items?

Hi, You are more than welcome to list items in the "signature" portion of your postings. We do this so that everyone is not "flooding" the boards with spam / advertising...trying to get rid of unused magic.

    Comstock

No disrespect Dalton because you are creative as heck, but I was disappointed in the flourishing / magic in your video. Also keep in mind that we have young viewers on the boards that may be younger than 10 so your music selection is a bit in poor judgement. Just my two cents, but I understand...

    New stand-up/walkaround gig! Help!

I cannot say I have ever worked a gig like this. Hmmmm....interesting to say the least. Now, I have done strolling through out a venue for an hour, then taken a half hour break to go set up my stage / parlour show, peform said show, tear down, and then go work some more strolling. But to me this...

    Opinions on Gimmicks

The best use of gimmicks I have found thus far for myself is by "ringing" them in once a clean or fair item of use has been in play and in "their" hands for a few minutes. Then slip in the gimmicked card, coin, thread, item and blow them away. This is why a deck switch is so deceptive. Think...

    New stand-up/walkaround gig! Help!

Am I right in thinking that you are doing a 20 minute set...."parlour" style and then you are going to go table hop or stroll in the plaza / restaurant or you are just going to continue doing magic at "your" table and people can stay or go?

What could you do with this magically?

I like the idea of it actually in a capsule or something in your palm. That would look sick...moving things around with open hands. I wonder if the magnet would erase data though if you were holding like credit cards, or if you held a usb drive, or something similar. Hmm..... It does make you...

What could you do with this magically?

Yeah...I didn't like the sound of it flipping around under my skin either. I would have to see what the "long" term health risks would be a few years down the road as well. It is definitely something to make you think a bit and it would make all PK effects look much cleaner for sure.

What could you do with this magically?

http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/magnet-implants-sixth-sense-nonsense-164100134.html Here's the question to create some brain storming. What could you do with an implanted magnet magically? Think of the possibilities with shimmed cards, steel coins, etc.

Like The New Tool I Invented?

I'm going to be a bit skeptical though and want to see this done in front of an audience. It almost looks TOO GOOD to be real. I'm not screaming "camera tricks" but it could be.

Like The New Tool I Invented?

I have no idea what you are doing unless it is good camera editing because this stuff looks insanely visual and like real magic. I LOVE every bit of it. Keep it coming.

Totally new idea card in the box

It's been done before. Saw it in old lecture notes back in the 70's. Ha Ha. I'm kidding. That was funny though.

The Marketplace - Frequently Asked Questions

If past credit is given to those who have come before you and your variation or touches make it unique...then it might be able to get through the selection process. If it is very similar to what else is already out there, then it could get shot down quickly. It is tough to tell until the...

    Banner Magic by Michael Mode

Banner Magic by Michael Mode Are you an emcee, strolling magician or a restaurant worker? How many times have you found yourself needing just 5 more minutes while in front of a group of spectators? We’ve all been there. The creator of the Napkin Rose, Michael Mode, has now “unrolled” his...

    School Talent Show::Dresscode+Comedy Rope Escape

Pete, well done. You're personality shines on stage and the crowd loves you. I liked both pieces you selected however the only thing I would change is the selection process of the team. Nobody in the audience can see what is written on the cards which allows for a little bit of scrutiny. I would...

    Chair Vanish. Thing.

Also keep in mind that like Craig was saying...sometimes illusions that are being built by "novices" can be quite difficult with the amount of hinges and such. If you are off on your wood or cuts etc....it can negatively affect your entire illusion. Basically there isn't much wiggle room for...
