I thought it was pretty good. I think I would be better if the card I saw was the 2 of Hearts instead of the 3 of Hearts though...but I see what happened, wasn't the 3 of Clubs right in front of the 2 of Hears? Ah well, if everything went as planned it would have been pretty good

For tricks, definitely go out and get a copy of The Royal Road to Card Magic, book or DVD, doesn't really matter. I personally used the DVD. Also, another great DVD for beginners is Oz Pearlman's Born to Perform Card Magic. Both of those are great For flourishes, I can't really say much...
