    t11.bulletin - theory11 has a MASSIVE secret

Who told you?! Ha - I wish it was that. The dove pan used to be my number one stunner when I was starting out in magic.

I loved tonight's submissions! Each of these was very well done and very fun to watch. Some thoughts: chriswiehl, your mom's coin bend was awesome! Rneogy, your presentation was a great fit for this contest, and showed an apparent triumph of technical skill. Malibu, it looks like you need an...

Saturday Night Contest - A Simple Display of Skill

Sure - your method does not need to be visible. To the camera, it can and should look like you have superhuman skills, strength, or abilities.

Saturday Night Contest - A Simple Display of Skill

If you have a magical method (invisible thread) at work in doing so, perhaps - what we're looking for it something that APPEARS to be a simple display of skill or strength, but in reality, you are using a secretive method. I cited the coin bend example previously, but you could also apparently...

Saturday Night Contest - A Simple Display of Skill

That is exactly what we're looking for. It should LOOK like a display of skill, but in reality it should be a magic method. Taking the example of bending a coin, it LOOKS like you have super human strength and are literally bending the coin. In reality, deception is at work.

The ZLog - My Web Series

Hmmm... the man in the arena is the one who puts themselves out there. That dares to fight. That takes a chance. That creates. That acts. I am far from the first to relate the quote to a creative context. Nevertheless, you are absolutely correct that vision is subjective and there exist as many...

The ZLog - My Web Series

"It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by the dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes...

    Uspcc?

Just to add a note in correction - Squeezers were not in any way affected in recent months. The last printing was not too long ago - 2007 or 2008 - and they are about to run another production soon. They should not be too difficult to obtain now or in near future.

    Uspcc?

They moved to a new facility in Kentucky and a brand new printing press. Both of those facts are good news. Their old facility was run down and smelled like cabbage and asbestos. They were well overdue for an upgrade. They sold their old press to a different company under the agreement that it...
