    Inversion Routine

I use David Acer's colour inversion with a personalised handling, and I also perform my own yeah. I have a couple idea's on inversion moves/concepts that I'm keeping under wraps at least until the inversion craze starts to kinda sweep over a bit. CL

    Obtaining a duplicate signature

Can you reveal any more details about the type of effect you'll be using this piece of subterfuge in? I know a few methods of getting a specs signature onto a completely different card to the one they 'signed' but not for actually duplicating a sig' so it's on more than one card :\ CL

    Cards to Bottom

-Angle jog to cop and botom placement? -Diaganol palm shift? -A switch of the cards at the outset? -Lose them one at a time wit hGilles Coutures wonderful Injog gut control? -Have them selected and 'lost' while actually controlling them one at a time with the convincing control? You have...

    Contort by: Kevin Parker

I can vouch for BW's integrity, as I'm sure Dee would agree. As for the effect, I think it looks good. It looks a little similar to something Dee showed me ages ago and I really like the idea and (the assumed) methodology behind it. CL

    Easiest switch

I think I would probably turn my head as I flip the top card over, then perform an illogical double lift onto the spectatirs palm or the table top to switch. Easy, open, deceptive and clean. CL

    Best Coin Bending

I have worked with MANY different bends over the years, allow me to relate my findings; -Morgan Strebler's Closer- I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet! This is wonderful. truly beautiful visuals and very magical. -Sean Fields various coin bends- All great. All of his metal...

New Pen Thru Bill by Cameron Francis

While I love Dough from a methodical standpoint, it's an effect that has never really got the reactions I desire. I now use Danny Garcia's impromptu straw through bill which also mimics mislead but uses no gimmicks and no prep. CL

    Young Daniel Madison

From around about the time I first became aware and had contact with DM, the CheatersCheater days. Yeah, he looks way young, but even then he had great chops. There used to be a great vid of D playing with the USPCC Playboy special edition deck, flicking the cards into the air and catching...

    Sight?

As is usual in the Mindlapse camp, Dee and I discussed this before release. It's a killer little piece of mentalism. I'll spare details, but I will say, it's strong, strong magic. The method is diabolical, the effect is clear and direct, and as is the Mindlapse hallmark, the method is simplistic...

    Best self working card effect.

If absolutely no pre-preparation is allowed, I would go with Daryl's untouched. Absolutely gorgeous in the right hands. If I'm allowed a bit of set up (even if it's on the fly), then Kenner's Twin Peaks is the bomb. CL

    Rub A Dub Vanish

I would say for versatility- The rub-a-dub, though the tent vanish does have it's place! For visual pointers on the performance of both of these moves, I direct you to Bebel's work. In the context of his vanisihning aces routine, they look flawless! Plus, he has some really good Block work too...

    Funky pass

I like it :) It reminds me of the first pass I taught myself, which was just a looser variation of my cureent classic pass handling. That too was jerky, and I executed it while apparently toying with the deck whilst chatting to the spectator's. I think the point somebody made earlier about...

    Rub A Dub Vanish

Possibly my favourite non- control/force move in card magic. I use it constantly. The convincers I use are as follows- I turn the move from a gutsy 'attitude' move, into a technical, retention of vision move. This is accomplished by... -Keeping the finders of the 'rubbing' hand open and...

    Inversion Effect

The re-handling of the impulse change is very nice. I would say that it's impoprtant to try to provide a 'magical moment' for the less visual inversions (i.e, the first reverse). Very nice, but with all the cuts it's hard to see how you've routined it. An actual performanmce video would have...

    The Session

I wish I could've, but had work commitments :( Still, I get to hang out with Dave Williamson and Banachek in a couple months, that'll make up for it! How were Acer and Kosby? Amazing, I assume? CL

    Double Lifts

You seem to have a pretty good practice routine. I'd say, there is no right or wrong way to practice, as long as what you are practicing has been taught properly. The old addage, perfect practice makes perfect, springs to mind. From which resource did you learn your pass, if you don't mind...

    Hobbies and Personal Interests

I write lyrics for, and sing in a band. I'm also learning guitar. I read, write short stories and poetry, and do a lot of illustration for various things. I love film and comedy. I love the DIY punk scene and frequent local hardcore and punk shows. I like to exercise and have a huge...

    Dynamo The Magician

Dynamo's a nice guy. I'm not huge on his style, but it's obviously working for him. And no, as far as I can tell, the majority of effects he performs aren't his own (with the [I believe] 'sole' exception of his colour changing shoelaces), but he structures a nice routine- Check out his...

    looking for ideas...

One could use some kind of loading move while showing the four tabled cards to be blank, steal away three of the blank cards in the process while switching them out for the selections, and use some kind of diminishing lift sequence to show all cards as blank before the transformation. Of...

    Charlier Origins

I enjoy using the move as a pass, it has a lot of potential for versatility which seems to go quite unexplored generally. CL
