When I practice my flourishes, I get the basic moves down first. Once I know them, I practice them a little faster, gradually building up speed. I usually practice in my living room while with the television on (I can't stand constant silence).
The flourishes on Motion aren't too difficult in my opinion. Im practicing Twisted Rain, and already have the basic moves down. Now im working on building up speed.
Wow! 12 dollars for deck of Bicycles?? Im curious.... where do you live, cause where I live, normal Bicycles cost about $2.50.
As for which deck, I would go with Arrcos. I don't have own them personally, but a relative of mine says they are superb.
You should consider reading some of the posts in the Product Review section of the forums. It may help you come to a decision you would be happy with. Personally, I recommend Dangerous.
Well put sammy. It is indeed an awesome trick. Ive had alot of fun with it. The gimmick requires alot of precision and patience, but the audience reactions you would get is totally worth it.
I just use regular bicycle playing cards. At one point I used centurions but some people thought the cards were marked in some way, no matter how many times I let them examine the cards. LOL!
