Along with what everyone else said.... d+M's stuff is always good, but a bit more advanced. His trilogy is a good basis for many card effects. Burn is cool, but you'll want to have a seperate deck just to "burn." Two words: Invisible Deck (if don't already own one) It's probably a wise...

Usually I do what you do and look them in the eye. Or if I'm desperate say, "let's move over here." and do the slieght while everyone is looking at where they're going.

Personally I always thought they were a bit obvious...but on stage and to laymen, they're probably alright.

I like both books and dvds, but books you can read anywhere and don't require a dvd player and/or a tv. Books also seem more uhh...permanent. Dvds can break, or get scratched, and then they're lost forever, but books are harder to destroy.(unless they get burned, hehe) The downside to books is...
