I hadn't seen anything about this DVD, but as it features (what I imagine would be) the most personal description of the anti-faro move, I may well pick it up...

Yeah, whether you use the flight deck, or good ol' fashioned SoH for this effect, this phase of the coins to glass effect is a winner!
I recommend David Acers coins and glass routine, it's mint!
Also, as an aside, does anybody do John Kennedys 'flutter' from AoA?
Awesome routine.

Eric's looks very good when performed well, but I REALLY struggle with the strip-out for the cut, y'know (trying to be suitably vague). If you have any tips, I'd love to hear 'em!
Drop me a PM, maybe.
Thanks dudes!

I would say that knowing the different personalities you may face will help, but how the spectator reacts to your magic is completely down to you, and not dependent on 'the type of person' they are.
I have turned people that just flat out couldn't have cared less about seeing anything into...
After the first phase, where it levitates up to your waiting hand, you do a strange little phase where it hovers between your index and thumb. Don't do this. It looks like what it is. It doesn't look very magical. I think it's the shaking of the balled bill that tips it, but you should either...
Harry Lorayne's 'riffle diffle' is very deceptive, and quite simple. It relies more on Rhythm than a difficult sleight.
I learned it from Harry's column in Genii about a year ago, perhaps.

loosen up the grip. That's the best thing you can do to avoid dragging that card round.
I got some great advice from Dan Harlan on passing. He elevates the bottom packet to chest level as they replace the card, then brings the bottom packet over the top to meet it. He passes as he lowers the...
I WOULD say to do an all mentalism show, with some TK and audience participation, but you MUST NOT do this gig mate. too little too late, y'know?
If you want to do shows, start building it now, and work at it. You seem to have some good material to work with though.

I am obsessed by sandwich effetcs!
The only one I've liked from a DVD is Dave Forrests 'On Holemeal', which is an amazing and offbeat way to actually SHOW the sandwich 'filling' with your card, very visual, very easy and diabolical handling!
Other favourites include Luke Dancy's 'Sandwich...
The effect is good, but there didn't seem to be much of an 'involvement' with the effect, and no real entertainment value. I am not crapping on your cornflakes, I'm just offering constructive criticism!

OH!
And keep your ear to the ground, because there is some very cool, no, no, wait, HOT stuff coming your way that uses lighters, fire, and lots more!!

Let's not dwell right now on the reasons surrounding why he passed, that can be addressed in time. Let's just mourn the loss of a true great in magic.
My deepest condolences to the Latta family.
