You can find the ORIGINAL 3-Fly routine by Jonathan Townsend in the September 2006 issue of Genii. It is fantastically difficult but hey if you learn as many methods you can find a version you like and then create your own.

Ask the spectator a question and make eye contact. One thing that might help you is scripting your tricks. That way you can map out where your sleights need to be covered.

honestly man, you have plenty of material as it is. It's cool that you practice only the tricks you like but I would recommend that you get those down perfectly before moving on to more stuff.

What do you think is real magic? Answer that and then try to get as close as possible with the sleights and props that you have at your disposal. If I had real magic powers a deck of cards would be the last thing I touch.

I have personally handled a set of Deans and when I saw the set I was like, "Where is the s***l?" I would say if you can afford it go for the Deans set.
