I kinda agree with you on that, but even if he really did create the method i feel that he should not post a tutorial on it and please create a new name for your method IF you are the one that create this cos you might mislead others that the REAL Push off is perform this way.

I think the 1st method which you posted is much more useful, usually when you hand over the deck to the heckler to perform 90% of them won't be able to perform even they know the move cos they can't perform the moves properly.

I don't feel there is anything wrong using gaff cards or gimmick to perform magic to your spec. To your spec, even you are using a gaff card or just using sleight of hand it doesn't make any differ to them cos to them you are just performing magic, they won't care less are you using a gimmick...

For me, i am using bicycle red gaff deck by E and invisible deck. Depend on your own preference which gimmick you like to use and perform :)

Double lifts, double undercut, some false shuffle, Marlo tit, Bluff pass, Loading Move, Classic force, Riffle force, erdnase change, impulse change, reverse card turnover, Paul harris revolve change, Shapeshifter change. These are the ones that i will normally use when performing card magic.

Practice infront of mirror or camera. Once you are confident in your sleights and ready to perform, go and perform for friends, family memebers or stranger.
