Well thanks to all of you! All the tips will certainly be taken into consideration. It's nice to know that there is a large amount of other magicians who are willing to help another.

Is there a way I can reduce my shaking during a performance? Too many times do spectators notice that I shake so much. I often play it off that I'm a naturally shaky person, which I am not. Any tips on reducing this? Or does it only leave with time?

I've been wanting to get myself a gig for a while now. But, I have no idea on how to start. Where should I look? What types of effects should I include? Money negotiations? Advertising? I have no idea on this area, so go easy if I ask the wrong things. I'm just looking for some guidance and tips.

What do you all have to say about those who really want to learn magic, but cannot afford to buy any of the tricks they want to learn and perform? Should there be a special plan for "broke aspiring magicians" or should they just wait until they actually can purchase the needed effects?

I am able to do it. I'd consider myself a master of it because I am able to move my hands slowly while doing the "dirty work" and still fool them.

Do you suppose that it is possible to exist a master magician who is not a true magician?

I believe in the theory that the most powerful magic is that which happens in the hands of the spectator. It seems to be the type of magic that really entertains the spectator in my opinion. Do you know of any effects that happen in the spectator's hands?

I started learning when I was 10 years old. I'm 16 now. I've done quite a few street performances and gathered my own ideas through that time. But, I figured I'd go back and work on a better presentation and improving showmanship as much as I can.
