Some genres I enjoy using myself are NuJazz, Down-tempo, Trip-Hop, Casino Jazz, even Blues lol. Anything to give me that "card sharp" feeling while I'm messing around or practicing. It makes me feel quite a bit slicker with the cards and able to handle them like... well.... a card sharp. :D

My power seems to be that "accidental suave". I guess I don't realize just how blind people are when they're watching me. Almost as second nature, I'll perform movements right in plain sight and people don't tend to notice at all. The more you get into magic the more odd it becomes really haha...

Look up "Cardistry Music" on YouTube. It seems that they have similar songs in entire playlists that would go well with both cardistry and magic.

If by "best" you mean complex in design, but good on handling, I suggest either Contrabands or Monarchs. Anything along those lines really.
