    Theory11's Got Talent!

I've not been able to shoot anything yet, sorry. However if my cameralady is free tomorrow I'll get something together as soon as I can, but if you decide before that it's very fine.

And subtitles are fine then? Or do I need to speak english? (Doable of course.)

t11.bulletin - WHAT TO READ with Jason England

Oh, my apologies. Must've missed that, anyways I guess we just have different views on it then :) But thanks a ton for responding, and yet another great 1 on 1.

    Theory11's Got Talent!

Sounds nice, will hopefully have mine ready just in time. Even if I can't get the prize I'm still inspired to go out and film some magic.

    Theory11's Got Talent!

Would you ship to a small country in north Europe noone has ever heard about? Ever? Also, do you have to speak english or would it be fine if I add subtitles? Also, Joshin: Great vid, would be fun to go up against :)

    An impossible answer ...

1: I'm not sure wether or not it did have something to do with the trick, but if you actually can remove it it depends on the situation in my opinion: As I see it there can be two different situations when doing close up, one where you're in control and one where you're pleasing the audiences...

t11.bulletin - WHAT TO READ with Jason England

Great 1-on-1, however I'm suprised he didn't mention the paper engine. I'm not sure about England's feelings towards Fisher's work, but in my opinion it's a great book, may be my favourite one, and I believe no card magician looking to improve should be without it.

What to do if you mess up or forget a trick at a show

I pull a goose out of my pants. The rare cases I'm not carrying a goose around I either leg it or have several cover ups ready.

    Emancipate

Holysh!t! Great work man, loads of good luck with the DVD. Even though the sleights may not be completely original, the effect is very well put together and definately worth learning.

5 Sleights for the Rest of Your Life

DL (My version of the instantaneous (spelling?)) Palm (Classic) Control (Orbit/Faro, can't decide. I'd take classic pass instead if I could do it well enough.) Force (Classic if I could do it, so far the hindu shuffle/Hofzinser spread cull depending on the situation.) Gravity half pass...

Daniel and Joe, that's exposure. Please edit.

    Ambidexterity

I see your point and agree to most of it, as this was not supposed to come across as a "I don't know what to do, help me" thread, but more of a discussion of what you're views are on this particular subject. But to answer the question, to me it's all about fine points, for example the tenkai...

    Ambidexterity

Thanks for the reply, but I might have to clarify a bit: If, say you're right handed, do you feel the need to learn some, (and if so, wich ones?) sleights with your left hand, to be able to mirror it depending on where you have your audience? I'm right handed myself, but in the start I...

    Ambidexterity

I've put this up on a few other places, but I'm wondering what you guys think: I'm mainly a card/odd objects (rubber bands, pen and paper, my body a'la control) guy but just recently got into coins. What I'm wondering is your view on ambidexterity (not being right or left handed). In the...

    Faro Shuffle

I may have missed if it's already been said, and it may be a bit obvious, but just putting this here: I use the Faro as my favorite card control, you can control the card to the top or bottom easily, and if you do perfect Faros anywhere in the deck. It is bold, simple, effective and...

    Smoke - Just the Gimmick?

For some reason my internet crashes when I try quoting, but thanks a lot S.G and shini.. yeah. Seems very interesting, and I'll probably be able to use it as I'm imagining. I have some additional questions though: Even if they've managed to get the gimmic literally invisible, is there any...

    Smoke - Just the Gimmick?

Then how hard is it to get in and out of your mouth? Could you, say: Patter, misdirect, shove it in, smokey smokey, misdirect and get it out, or is it very big and obvious?

What is the best impromptu card trick(s)?

To me I'd probably say search and destroy by Aaron Fisher, a good Ambitous Card Routine or 2 Card Monte. Quick card transpositions are great as well, my favourite being French kiss. Then one that really blew my mind when I saw it, but that I've never been good enough to perform is Danny...
