do not practice outside always but cards into the box after you finished practicing don't put cards on surfaces like tables and floor. + what everyone above said I practice around 4 hours a day these days, and standart bycicle deck lives around 3 weeks here, maybe ever 4 if you don't mind...

same as you, about a month. on half the deck i do it pretty good i guess, so soon i might try it (in public) as a control after dribble... but with full deck i still find it very difficult to do properly

if you have table or some cover like his, you can keep that *other* packet on laps and switch when you need... in standup condition you'll need good misdirection to have chance to switch packets (which is: put current one into pocket and take other packet from the same of different pocket)...

yeah, i really hate gimmicked tricks when there are ones with ordinary deck exist btw, my all time fav Oil And Water trick is from"Harry Lorayne - Magical Classics (Part II)" So lovely, first starts as classic oil and water but ends with revelation of royal flush!! Looks like real miracle...

When i need to throw one card from one hand to the other, i mostly use "instant replay" (with one or one and a half rotations), looks good to me :)
