How do I know if my move is original?

I managed to discover a few moves that I think no one has done before... But I don't really know! How do I know without having to expose it to the world?

Does Carnahan fan require a new deck?

Haha! I can definitely relate with the cards flying away. I tried with a few different decks and yes, the finish and embossing of the decks plays a big role, especially for beginners of this move.

Does Carnahan fan require a new deck?

Just trying to make sure that it's me and not the deck that's the problem. I have a 3 month old blue crown at the moment and I can't seem to spread the cards as easily as I would with a smear fan when performing a carnahan fan. I've just started learning it today.

How to avoid dropping packets when doing cuts?

Hi, I'm looking for general tips and affirmation on doinh cuts. Generally, I thought I'd keep the packets as few cards as possible. Holding tightly doesn't seem to help. Also, I live in a cold country where my hands are usually dry... Is that a factor?

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

Thanks for the tips! I also agree that at times that I seemnto get it, I have actually done a good dribble. Now, the actual spinning seem to be contributed by the gravity, and the weight if the cards put on each other. If I dribble too fast and put too much pressure, the weight is concentrated...

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

I'm experimenting with this. Although according to Dimitri (the creator of the move), it shouldn't be necessary. The second video tutorial posted above suggests it is to make a bigger fan otherwise.

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

Do you guys think that the condition of the cards matter (as with a regular fan) when doing this flourish? I seem to do it better on certain decks (specially new ones, though a bit slippery).

LePaul Spread, Riffle Fan and Anaconda are my current frustrations. When I can do them is the time I can consider myself a new man.

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

Sure. So far I can do like 45 degrees.lol. I don't know why the fan is not spreading enough. Probably something to do with my dribbling.

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

Thanks guys. I tried to research the anaconda a bit and with that I learned to improve my dribble even more! The advanced dribble by the russian genius was really helpful. Still not able to do the fan but certainly getting closer.

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

Hi again A question about the dribble. The first video said slmething about anaconda dribble but this should just use a regular dribble, right?

Aren't all playing cards the same?

Thanks. I asked because I collect cards and I just tried to philosophicalize my hobby, and ask myself what I'm actually doing. lol. I'm practicing cardistry for no more than a year and everyday, I take with me 3 different deck variations (out of say, 10 I have). And you're right, each feel...

Riffle Fan - Need help with pressure

I know that most tutorials will say that it's something I have to figure out for myself. But is the pressure needed to do the riffle fan just under? Or is there pressure from above also? Also, does the speed of the spread have anything to do with the stability so the cards won't fall while...
