    Performing for brentalfloss

Apologies, brentalfloss is a popular song writer on YouTube who adds lyrics to video games. He's touring the country and happened to be in my area. http://www.youtube.com/user/brentalfloss

    Performing for brentalfloss

This is my first time having a live performance recorded, and I got that opportunity with the one and only brentalfloss. He's a really great guy and said he enjoyed it and told me to "not stop". http://youtu.be/9Ub3Q55FWho

    Dealing with Skeptics.

Hand him the deck. Tell the audience that he's really smart and he can do amazing things as well, right before he stutters and walks away feeling like the idiot he is.

Custom card design. Tell me what you think.

I like it! I actually prefer minimal designs on cards sometimes, and I like the work you've done here. I'd like to see them in Red or Blue, but that's just me. Great job!

So help me, this better not have anything to do with Jerry's.

whos got a deck in their hands as we speak?!

Ah, I have red circle back's on me, which I just opened yesterday. Interesting, the box designs for the cards I received are the older Tally boxes, even though I once ordered Fan backs from here and they were newer Tally boxes. Yes, truly a truly joyous way of life.

    USPCC Targeting Magicians?

Hahaha, I'm just happy someone noticed. Oh, I think I misspoke, DB's cards aren't being sold at Target... at least not that I've seen. Or are they?

whos got a deck in their hands as we speak?!

That's interesting, I'm holding my brand new Tallies as well. o.o Fan back or Circle, what color?

Something to the effect of Daniel Madison's CHANGE, judging by the date, at least. :p

    USPCC Targeting Magicians?

Just something I've noticed... throughout the past couple years, the USPCC's target consumers seemed to be card players, if you remember Bicycle's numerous adverts about card game rules, how to play, win online, etc. Recently, I've noticed with their latest decks seem to be a bit better quality...

    first gig. tips please?

Yes. I don't actually regularly perform tricks that require a table because I'm used to a stand-up/street environment. I would recommend for a 10-15 minute card routine, opening with a transpo of some sort, doing something like a Triumph, and ending with something like an ACR. You just have...

    Bicycle Dragon Backs

Let's be honest, I love it. It does *everything* I want it to. Excellent springs, cuts, fans... I'm going to pick up maybe 5 more next time I'm out. The coloring is also absolutely beautiful.

    first gig. tips please?

I hate to say this, but really, if you don't feel you're ready, you aren't. Unless you can think of way to organize the tricks you do best into a decent routine, I would call it off. And also, only do tricks that you do best... as in the ones you can do in your sleep. Sorry if I sound...

    Bicycle Dragon Backs

These are now available in Target apparently. I picked up a deck for $2.99 today. They handle better than bikes, and I've only had them open a few hours, but they're very nice. Not as good as Tallies though. What does everyone else think of these, did you know they were out?

    Tally Ho's

Guess it just depends on your style. I'm the type who likes to give things away to spectators after a good trick, like for an Ambitious Card or a transpo, as a memoir. It's also a neat convincer that there's no duplicate of the card. But then, that's just me.

    Tally Ho's

I was planning on purchasing new playing cards, I was curious about a couple things. First, I've been using the Tally Ho Fan Back style for awhile but was thinking of switching to Circle, and I was curious which of the two you preferred. Also, I wanted to know if the blue Circle Backs are...

C.S.D - Card in Sealed Deck

This is beautiful! Nice performance. Daniel Madison has an effect like this, but this looks much smoother than his, if I may say so myself. Great!

    Angle Zero Locations

Angle Zero's an old favorite of mine I haven't performed in a long time, and I've been rethinking my routine for it. For the revelation I've used the card box, cobwebs, and a spectator's pocket. What are your favorite locations for the corner, or for any kind of impossible location effect?

    Has this been published?

This is actually entirely different... there is no setup and the actual performance looks nothing like Carbon Paper.

    Has this been published?

This is a trick I created about a week ago, it's my favorite one to do... I've done some research and can't find if it's already been done. The effect: A spectator freely chooses any playing card and signs it. A burn is applied to the back of it, and is clearly placed in the spectator's...
