You should definatly get a close-up mat. If you're serious about card magic, it's a necessity. They come in a bunch of different sizes and colors. I bought a purple one off of ebay. They have some pretty good prices on them. You can also use them for other magic tricks, such as coin and stuff...

This sounds cool! I would totally enter. I really like the "creating your own effect" contest idea. :)

Yeah, like Cory said, It sounds like you have some good ideas, but still try to show a little more of exactly what the trick is about.

i have a red deck of streamline, and their not like that at all

personally, being a girl, i have no idea why she doesn't like magic. If a guy i knew did magic, that would be so cool, but unfortunatly, none do(at least none that i know of, lol). It's a wonderfull art. But, I guess just don't show her tricks, it's her loss. ~The Magician Cool

I agree with smith_cj. Subway is my favorite trick. It gets really great reactions. And the first thing they think is that there's a dup.

I think he's a great magician, his teaching is great. Just my oppinion. Maybe some things he does might seem annoying, but overall, he seems pretty cool.

i've heard that it makes your fanning ahmazing! But, not sure if that's true. Never tried the stuff. Maybe I'll pick some up, after I hear what some others have to say.

Yeah, im guessing if you're german, it would definatly be easier to work with the dvds, than to try and translate the book. But it's up to you.

Yeah, what I meant was, that we should have a forum titled Video Production, where basically you can post problems you've been having with your camcorder, video editor, what computers you think are best for editing. Basically anything like that.

Suggestion for Theory11 This is just a suggestion for Theory11. I'm guessing this is the right place to post it in, because it really doesn't fit anywhere else. So I was thinking Theory11 should have a Video Production forum like decknique has. Because a lot of people on the forums make videos...
