I want a Theory XI coin

A theory 11 coin would be awesome. Just one. I can totally see it in the TXI style, with a beautiful engraving. Not necessarily gaffed, but the size of a half dollar in gold, bronze, or silver plating. I would TOTALLY buy that.

    types of coins

It’s not your imagination. Silver feels different than the copper clad. The non silver looks “shinier” but when you hold it next to a real silver coin even the dull shine of the actual silver looks nicer in my opinion. They also sound different. If you use a coin to lightly tap on a real silver...

    types of coins

Liberty half dollars are expensive. If you want the same size you could just get some non silver Kennedy’s. They’re pretty shiny and plentiful so it should be a lot cheaper. i personally do prefer walking liberties though

    My magic confession

My walking liberty is the one I’ve been keeping in my pocket now. I have Kennedy’s (the non silver ones) that I swapped out for a silver Benjamin. But I swapped my Benjamin out for the Liberty when I got it for Christmas. They are remarkable.

    types of coins

I know I’m a little late, but I was wondering if you’ve decided yet. I have a peace dollar my grandfather gave me. But I REALLY want a Morgan silver dollar. For a majority of them, Morgan’s are slightly more expensive (sometimes only by a few dollars) but I love the look of Morgan’s. That could...

    My magic confession

Recently, I’ve been into coin collecting. I’ve asked people to give me any old coins that they don’t want, and I’ve been collecting some of the weirdest ones from around the world. I also always keep one in my pocket. Besides the fact that I think these coins look cool, I’ve only ever told one...

    Tuck Case Protectors

Where can I get some tuck case protectors? The TX1 cases are so beautiful, but my favorite cards typically have the paper tuck case so they can easily be damaged. I can only find case protectors for large decks like for D&D but not for a standard 52 deck of cards.

    Coin magic

Hey, I’m really interested in coin magic/flourishes. Something I can practice and fidget with when I’m bored in public. I’ve seen a few techniques and enjoy practicing them, but I feel like there’s more out there that I’m missing. I prefer ones that are with one coin. Any particular tricks...

    Thoughts on Virtuoso Playing Cards

So I’ve had this Virtuoso deck for awhile because of all of the hype, but I’ve kind of always been spoiled with TX1 cards. It’s like, a standard bicycle deck doesn’t do it for me because I love the feel and even the smell (don’t judge) of the TX1 cards. (I just say smell because the smell of...

    Where to learn cardistry

Yes. I am “running out” because I am only learning what I want to learn. I like cardistry cuts more than anything and if the cut or flourish is not what I want to do then I won’t bother to try to learn it. If you’re going to be rude then leave.

    Where to learn cardistry

So I have REALLY been getting into cardistry, but I’m running out of instructional videos to look at on YouTube for free. Are there any books or something that you would recommend for someone who is still fairly a beginner? I especially love doing cuts so I’m looking to learn some more of those.

Any of your favorite beautiful decks?

The MailChimps are my babies right now. Beautiful design and the Navy Blue with red is different than most color combos

new to Cardistry - Tally Ho deck

Put your cards in the fridge. Also, check out the Bee deck on TX1s page. They feel more plastic-y to where they don’t swell up as much but they still feel amazing. Also, I wouldn’t consider TX1 decks to be expensive....it’s only expensive when you buy more than one. ($10 is fine in my head but...

    Calling all Wisconsin Cardists

I feel like cardistry would be more fun if I knew more people that did it but I feel like cardists don’t live in Wisconsin. Anyone from Wisconsin that is is into cardistry?
