Try storing your cards in the box, in a cool dry place; away from any humidity. I also find it helps to store any stickier cards underneath a pile of books for a few days. A dehumidifier in the room can help, or storing your cards with those little moisture absorbent packets

Completely agree with this! Magic books give you much more bang for your buck in terms of how many tricks are explained. And the fundamentals taught in books are valuable skills that you will carry with you forever
