i got some BETA versions of the tattoos from Ellusionist about a year ago and they were not your typical temporary tattoos. they're made of something different that makes them feel and blend better with your skin. it's honestly amazing.

I'd much rather watch a dvd than read a book. and there are plenty of E dvds that don't have Brad in them. sure he might get mentioned once or twice in some of them but that's not a big deal. kinda lame thread. haha and yet i'm still replying. DUR

here's a couple of mine.

you hit the nail directly on the head as far as i'm concerned. The number one rule of magic: NEVER repeat a trick to the same audience. putting up video clips on public video servers kind of destroys the point of that "rule". very interesting topic indeed.

sinful is actually MAINLY taught by Houchin. Criss is there watching him teach and asking questions to make sure they cover every detail. it works out very well. great effect. go buy it. NOW. :D

I think that Wayne is hitting the nail on the head with taking PRIDE in what we do. what does this mean? this means that we should practice our magic until it's darn-near perfect...and then GO OUT to perform it in a meaningful way that will have the spectator not wondering how we did it...but...

realistically it's impossible to keep a website "secret" what with google and all. but if you look on D&D's myspace they have a banner ad for T11 right there for all of their friends to behold. i mean that's how i found my way here. :P

it looks like most of them wouldn't need gimmicks. personally i'd say just don't buy from penguin. their customer service sucks and after all the other stuff that's been going on over there. it's just not worth the $5 you might keep in your pocket instead of buying it somewhere else...

when all relatives or friends know that a deck of cards as a gift will always make you happy. when family gives you money to buy your magic dvds for your birthday because you won't give them the sites. when any computer you touch instantly has a card related background image your cell...

i try to not do much magic at school so i don't become the magic-boy that everyone's constantly prodding for a new trick that they can go google. but yeah if i did i don't know just try new stuff on different types of people and see what works best. good luck

i completely agree with this. It's depressing because i've had people i'm performing for start explaining EXACTLY how i do a trick when they don't even do magic. people simply want to know the secret so they can be cool for 5 minutes and make us magicians look like idiots. if i owned a magic...
