    To Improve My Cull

The roadrunner cull teaches the classical cull method while David's cull is a different technique. I actually prefer the classic method over David's, basically because it is way easier to pull off confidently, in my opinion.

Wayne Houchin. He connects with the audience so that they can have a truly magical experience. I also really enjoy Aaron Fisher's performances

That's right! I've been using a bic lighter and it sucks for the job. I just used a candle and worked perfectly.

NIP Card Effect by Aitkaliev Medet

I don't think this could be consider as an effect. It's just a control.

Can't Blacken cards with a lighter

I got the same result after trying to move the lighter further away. The card starts to bend and bubbles of air appear inside the card before it blackens.

Can't Blacken cards with a lighter

I can't blacken cards without burning them partially or creating bubbles of air inside them. I really need to make some gaffs but until now I haven't got it after ~6 tries. I know it's a silly question but I would really appreciate any help.

Card "magic" tricks vs sleight of hand

You forgot to consider "Geeky magic" performing stunts that are related to magic or super powers, etc. Stigmata is just awesome if you want spectators to think you as someone "magical" or even freaky

    The Spring-Break

You flashed pretty much everything, even the shuffle. Anyways, I think this can be very useful as a control.

What is "YOUR" favorite effect to perform

My favorite has to be DnD's Subway. Although I use a different presentation for the trick instead of: just saying "disappears from here" and "appears there"

Daniel Madison Loves Staring At Things...

I think that this attitude is related to his fascination towards sleight of hand. Unlike most magicians, Daniel doesn't seem to enjoy people's reaction as much as pulling off advanced sleights. That's the impression I get whenever I watch his videos.

    Bottom Deal and Multiple Shift

Quick tips for Bottom deal: - Work on the grip and control over the deck, overall it seems that cards are about to fall when you perform the move. - Put your right thumb on top of the deck while you deal the bottom card. That way the discrepancy is more covered and looks more like a top deal...

To adapt, or not to adapt, that it´s the question.

Made my day! Anyways I meant the magician and the spectator

To adapt, or not to adapt, that it´s the question.

I think that there should be at least a small boundary between the magician and the performer, where the magician could still make a connection with the spectators but at the same time both should know how to behave and react according to the situation. So it would be 50-50 for the spectator and...

    Big setup FASDIU

Hi guys, I wanted to ask people who perform complicated setup tricks. How do you manage to setup your deck from a shuffled deck in use. i.e. In front of the spectators, with a deck you already used previously. I mean like big setups e.g a whole suit, half of the deck, reversed cards, etc...

An index of sleight of hand

Here is a huge index of magic books including their respective contents. I think it's the most complete reference for sleights and even tricks. http://archive.denisbehr.de/index.php
