Jay Sankey has a DVD on his website that is nothing but tricks you can do with a sharpie, you should check it out.

I agree, Appollo Robbins is very great, his pickpoceting is based on prefect misdirection, you can check out his effect the VCR change which is based on smooth misdirection.

I would check out slydini, alot of his routines were built on bold misdirection, you could apply that methods to several diffrent tricks.
