Some easy flourishes you may want to learn are: the spring, the charlier cut, maybe even the sybil cut.
You should also buy Genesis V1 here on theory11 by Andrei Jikh. It's a great starting dvd on cardistry. :)

I have rapture, the gimmick is easy to make at home, about coming with the DVD I don't know.
Also in the end Edward shows you how to clean up and continue to perform whatever you want.

The video and the moves are pretty good, i enjoyed the video but putting that spring in slow motion was a bad idea in my opinion, it made my eyes hurt a little bit, other than that i liked the video. :)
Usually i find a flourish i want to learn and i perform it slowly until i know it then i do it over and over again until it is just natural and very smooth and also faster. I also practice when i'm watching TV or whenever i have some time and cards.
If the flourish is really long then i'll do...
