    I agree with MasterMagician88. But I'd like to add one thing that Andrei Jikh says in Genesis V.1 That helped me a lot: Sometimes, when you're learning new flourishes you tend to hold the deck tight and heavy. That's not good, you should always try to hold the cards in a natural loose fashion...

    Thumb propulsion help

    It's all practise. I've been doing that move for a while now and I manage to catch it around 50% of the time. It's all about timing and well aiming for the card. Of course if you manage to throw the card in a straight up line it makes it much easier =D
