    Control by Wayne Houchin

I totally agree with you Ajatustenlukija. This isn't a trick that should be done impromptu. I learned the original method years ago from my Grandmother's boyfriend and I haven't performed it in years. All this hype about "Control" had got me wondering if the method was the same. Although we've...

    Big Problem

What could be the problem? If you're good at what you do, I'm sure the father, who apparently has all these great connections will connect you to one of them. If you're no good, dating his 12 year old daughter won't influence him at all. This really doesn't seem to be a problem or issue...

    Panic gimmick quality?

The question is... why you never contacted T11 and let them know? They would of graciously replaced it for you. Also, you didn't just pay for the gimmick but also for the secret. I would say more but from your comments you seem to be still new to magic so I'll go easy on ya!(lol)

    Darwin Ortiz: Strong Magic

My blunder!! Sorry about that. Were talking about Darwin Ortiz's "At The Card Table" and not "Expert At The Card Table". Please don't cast an evil spell on me.(lol)

    Darwin Ortiz: Strong Magic

It's called, "Expert At The Card Table". Also, it's Wesley James who does his own handlings and insights on the DVD's, not Erdnase, for obvious reasons. The book was originally published in 1902 by S.W. Erdnase. Erdnase's true identity is one of the enduring mysteries of the magic community...

    Thread out of stomach

No worries here. I wasn't taking it to heart. I found your post funny and couldn't resist replying to it. I pictured in my mind what you discribed and felt bad you had to experience that.

    Thread out of stomach

Hi Katie, Well, I'm only 150lbs, and I don't think there is any classy way of performing this trick. I don't sweat a lot, nor am I hairy. In fact, at my age some of my hair has started to fall out. I'm not sure of all the methods out there but I do perform needle and thread from my belly...

    My Website

All I got to say without all the mumble jumble is, what a fantastic website. I want to book you for my next buisness meeting just from reading it. I'm serious and not being sarcastic. For a young man like yourself with a very professional website like that, I'd book you in a moment. I'm not very...

    Theory11 Gaff Deck?

First of all, thanks Greg for your comment. It made my day.:) Thanks! Ryanplunkett: Hey, we all say things we wish we never said, but we usually say what's really on our mind at the time. However, time never stands still and we must all move on. I'm sure no feelings were hurt by what you said...

    Theory11 Gaff Deck?

Hi Z, Don't take it personal unless it effects you personally. You're 15 years old and good on you. You have the advantage of young age on your side. This gives you the opportunity not only to learn tricks but to master some of them by the time you reach your adult hood. All great magicians...

    Theory11 Gaff Deck?

Wow! So true. Now my opinion: I think there are enough gaffed cards out there to take advantage of.

    A Few of My Videos

I'm sure you're looking for some honest opinions so I will be honest. I won't comment on the self working tricks you performed because they're more about knowledge than skill. Your double lift needs some work. I had my wife take a look at it because she's not a magician, nor does she know the...

    Thread out of stomach

Painful??? I'm not quite sure what methods you guys are talking about, but I do the needle and thread from bellybutton on occasions and don't find it painful at all. It takes a bit to set it up, and you have to be careful until you perform the trick, but it's never been painful at all for me.

    Magician's Wax

In all fairness, I don't think anyone should be answering that question for you. It may sound petty, but it is exposing the makings.

    Question About "SAW"

Thanks Dave! That was all I needed to hear. I will go and pick myself up a copy a.s.a.p

    Question About "SAW"

I haven't purchased the DVD cause I'm already aquainted with how the trick is performed, but I noticed that Criss Angel was able to pull it out with a ring attached. I have also seen people pull out a life-saver candy. Does the SAW dvd show how this is done? I'd be very interrested in buying the...

    Exposure : Why

Hi CDarklock, Very well put! That has to be the best explanation I have ever heard in regards to exposure. p.s Some people don't realize that when they post themselves performing a magic trick on Youtube, other links relating to the trick will appear in the right hand corner. Some...

    Exposure : Why

I have to somewhat disagree with all due respect. I think most performing magician's would agree that it hasn't effected them as much as some might think. I think, and I use the word, "think" that some of the people who complain are those who purchased the trick and then discovered it on Youtube...

The End :: I Wish You Well

You can't leave magic! Don't you know it's like the Mafia? Once you're in, you're in for life bro. Magic will always be a part of your life. It's like taking the red/blue pill in the movie Matrix. Once you take it you can never go back. But, on a serious note...All the best to you, and good...

    David Blaine or Criss Angel?

No offense to anyone but I see no relevance in this discussion, and I have to agree this discussion has been way over done. How about we turn this thread into, "What magician has inspired us the most"
