I think if a trick requires forcing a card on top, or even just controling a card to the top, the trick will get MUCH better reactions if you just do a simple riffle force. It turns from "oh sleight of hand, kinda cool," to "How did you read my mind!? DEMON!" Little things like that take, lets...
I have small hands for my age, but they are still big enough to palm a card. I would say misdirection combined with just leaving the hand at your side should work nicley. I have a decent sized window between my ring finger and pinky and no one has noticed.
There is a massive one hour fanning workshop with Jerry in XB1. It covers all the basics, thumb fan, pressure fan, giant fan, and the 180 degree twin fans. The only real fan in CtG that i'm aware of is the Flipback fan.
