    True Astonishments

Hey, how many of you would have come up with that? :D I do really like his idea of a stage vanish where everyone pretends one person has vanished (The Nowhere Man, book 3). I ought to try it sometime . . . I'm excited for this to come out. I never tire of reading the effect...

    True Astonishments

I would probably choose TA because I don't really know about TOOC and would want to get the book first to make a decision. When is TOOC coming out? But 50 hours of footage? That's alot of material!

    True Astonishments

I say that the trailer is one of the most well done trailers I've seen. It features so much, yet there's so much more! I read on the Cafe that there's around 40 easter eggs on the DVDs, so that will keep us occupied for a while.

    A Learning Experience

Like someone else said in an earlier reply, every performance is a learning experience in itself. I learn something new in every performance, and I'm able to grow in magic. Probably the biggest performance I've had was my first performance at a school fun night about a year ago. No one knew...

    Mr. Paul Harris

My favorite is the first PH effect I learned: RESET. It's very complicated and difficult (with pretty much every simple slight in the effect), but it looks awesome when done well.

    My Contest Video (Youtube)

Thanks for the input Ok, thanks for the replies. Just to let you know, I'm not taking offense at what you're saying here. Maybe at the youtube comments, but here I'm getting good advice. I'm a magician by trade, not a XCMer, so this is a new realm for me. webcam issue - I dont think...

UPDATE -- Trilogy : The NEW theory11 Video Contest

Hey, I have a quick question. I'm not sure if I'd be able to get the video on Quicktime. Would it be alright if I uploaded it in WMV, or do I have to do it in Quicktime?

UPDATE -- Trilogy : The NEW theory11 Video Contest

I'm a magician by nature, but I'm pretty good with XCM. I'll do my best to do a good vid, since I want to win! (very small chance, but maybe third?)

What Is Wrong With Magic as an Art Today...

Here's my opinion on the topic. A lot of people are saying that exposure is hurting magic, and I do believe so to some degree. There are alot of horrible performances on youtube of effects which can really hurt. However, if "exposure" is controlled, than maybe instead of exposing, we could...

Yeah, RESET is one of my favorites too. I have a routine with Mercury (or I may add in Shuffling Lesson), Reset, and Limo Service that I like to do.
