    Dresscode

I'm a little confused. I'm pretty sure I always said "dress shirt" except for the one time I said "dress (formal) shirt with tie." Maybe I just missed it. But if I did say that, then that is exactly what I meant. T-Shirt to dress with tie. You don't know my style, don't judge me. Haha.

Thanks Magic, But you could do a T-Shirt to Dress Shirt with tie?

    Dresscode

Technically you gave me an answer, not necessarily the one I was looking for. You linked me to a video where Calen changes a dress shirt into another dress shirt, which wasn't my question. And you didn't say anything about the second shirt being tucked in. So you've responded more than once...

    Dresscode

Hey gang. Quick question. And before you answer, keep this in mind. This would be the MAIN thing I would perform using this effect. I want to walk up to someone and let them see I am wearing a jacket and T-Shirt. Then, I turn around and when I turn BACK around (like in the normal performance)...

    DRESSCODE :: Complete Review

Quick question. Can I start off wearing a T-Shirt and "change" that into a dress shirt with tie? Also, can the shirt that will "appear" be tucked in? Thanks for the help! - Frank

    A good sandwich effect...

In the October issue of MAGIC Magazine there is a great sandwich effect in Joshua Jay's column, "Talk About Tricks." I think it's called "Process of Elimination." Good routine with a great ending. Check it out! :)

    Going to a School Dance

I agree with him. He shouldn't have to reference every version of the "easy money"-multiple bill change plot. Anyway. I like the idea of the Fluffer deck suggested earlier. Are you wanting to ask her just to the dance or to be your girlfriend? If it's the latter, I really like the...

Push Through Shuffle - Jason England

Again, no they didn't. He does the move very well. If I wasn't already familiar with this sleight, or even as smooth as I am now, I would consider purchasing this. It's a great false shuffle/cut sequence. Highly suggest learning it in some form; whether that be this 1-on-1 or a book from...

    My Magic Show...

What effects have you done in the past years? You have new kids this year so don't think you can't use those effects again. I did a show last fall for an elementary school. My best friend's mom was the librarian and they had what was called "Fun Friday" where the grades would break up into...

Tangled Web by Eric Mead - Review

MagicofT... I heard about a routine where you have an entire deck of cards stuck to a board and the spec thinks of any card and when you shake the board, all the cards fall off except for one....the thought of card. But the only reason it didn't fall was because it's drawn onto the board...

    "Cards on the Floor" Effects

It does use a gimmicked card. And I do have the book. the book has some really good effects in it. And controls. And humor. It's good stuff.

    "Cards on the Floor" Effects

Tyler Wilson has one in is book Dominatricks where he drops a card on the floor that lands face up. Then instead of picking it up he takes an indifferent card and changes it into the one on the floor. A transposition type effect. and a pretty cool one at that. Check it out.

    Improvements in Card Boxes

Think about this. Decks already cost $1.97 - $4.00 depending on where you buy. Even if you buy in bulk, the cheapest you can get decks for is about a dollar a piece. Now let's imagine they start making the boxes out of plastic.... Did you see the price jumping up ridiculously high as...

    African-American Magicians?

Marcus Eddie. He's been going to the Texas Association of Magician's convention for years now and has some incredible ideas. One of the things I look forward to every year at TAOM is 3 AM Saturday night/Sunday morning when him and Daniel Garcia interact with each other. Marcus is...

    Black Ghosts Review

On the contrary. What I got as the point of the thread was he was stating how the "smoky edges" of the Black Ghost deck blurred the two cards needed for a double lift into one, hence providing a cover of sorts. He goes on to explain how even in packet tricks this blur technique helps by...

    Alternative To Ashes

You could always carry a bag of pre-burned ashes. Then when they burn their paper, whether it burns all the way or not, you still have enough ashes. Toss their paper away at the end of the routine and you're bag is reset and good to go. If you don't like the idea of ashes in a bag, you could...

    What Is This Trick?

This is ridiculous. I see a performer performing Michael Ammar's his cups and balls routine for the first time, it's the first routine I've ever seen like it. I enjoyed it throughly and as a magician I want to share that "create unique memory" I had when I watched it with my audiences. I...

    Angle Zero

I have a plastic ID case I carry my college ID in which also has my dorm key on it, so I'm always carrying it with me. I present the effect as a "Card Thru Window" but To-Go.
