Cards are all preference. Some people prefer smooth finish, some people prefer linen, you should get a feel for decks, and eventually you'll realize that some appeal more then others feel wise.

Hey, I perform for kid's and elderly for my community service hours, and kids definitely need something very visual. Cups and balls, sponge ball acts work well, but card magic is a bit iffy.

I own a ton of regeneration gimmicks, and I mean, you don't really need to swallow it. You can stick it to the roof of your mouth which usually works. However if you want to swallow it, which is what I used to do there's nothing to it really, just the bad taste.

For starters, Genesis, it is a bit pricey but has tons of good stuff there. You'll learn the basics, and from there I went to Genesis V2, which has some good stuff, but if you're looking to two handed cuts and things of that nature, definitely Papercuts. Has some of the coolest things I've seen.

The Black Artisans are nice, especially the box design. I really like the front of the box, not overflowing with designs, but looks really cool. The back design, is similar to the medallions, in which i prefer them more, but they handle fairly well.

I ordered the medallions at 12/15/13 and it's on prepariing shipment still and I was wondering if this is normal or not. Not sure if it's just certain cards or something.
