Thanks, James. I have a method for impromptu, and also for one that is "gimicked" I guess, but for the most part, I'd just say this is impromptu. The "gimmicked" method is most practical in my opinion, and what you need for it is a common object that you can just carry around in your pocket. :)

When practicing this in front of a mirror, do you notice your pinky moving at all? Or is it supposed to look completely still when you're pulling it through? Trust me, I do exactly what you're saying, but I still see it move, and that makes me hesitant to perform this for people. O_o
