Guardians deck going as low as U$0.50 for a dozen, thats INSANE !??

How is that Possible ?

For those who can't find it, its at the lower right hand corner of the page.

Anyone have any idea ?

I believe those are the processing fees to pay when you bid on an item.

Mitchell

Thanks Mitchell for info.

I still wonder how does thats works for them ?

If there is 20 people who bid for US$1.00 inclusive of processing fess.
The total cost will be still going at US$20.00.

But how are they able to cover the cost of the cards which cost US$50+?

This is too crazy!!!

they likely aquired the cards at a lower then retail price.

also more then 20 bids are likely to happen

Wow! If that's the case that will be darn cool !

I may spend about $10-$20 to bid and I might get 1 dozen of Guardians playing cards ?

This is wicked cool !

Anyone gonna try ?

lol !

From what it looks like, you PAY the money and if you win you get the item and if you lose you're out processing fee + bid

If 50 people bid AROUND $0.50, plus $1 processing fee....They get $75 from it, which is more than retail price.

I agree APassivePoke !

But I believe the trick to the bid is to bid early to be the first bidder and the most unique bidder to place the most unique price to bid to be a winner.

Its kinda tricky but its quite an interesting kind of auction.

Most of their products they offers are quite attractive.

I looking forward to Dean's Triangle. Its one of my dream item that I always wanted.

LOL,

You are the same as me. I was confuse when I read about being the lowest unique bidder to be the winner. But after some clarification with Mitchell,
joshua barrett and APassivePoke.

I manage to get the idea how the bidding works.. Its pretty simple and straight forward. Just bid early and have an unique lowest bidding price to win the auction, which inclusive of the bidding processing fees.

If Guardian deck processing fees is US$1.00. You are required to bid your desire bid price inclusive of the processing fees. Example. - $0.94 + $1.00
do your final bid will be $1.94 for the Guardians Cards.

Darn I still can't believe it - $1.94 for 1 dozen of cards thats TOTALLY CRAZY.

LOL

I believe its no harm to try $1.94 on my luck to win 1 dozen decks of guardians cards.

Exactly guys, its not the 'Lowest Bid' its the 'Lowest Unique Bid'

So if you bid 87c, and the someone then comes along and bid's 87c, neither of you win.

The lowest figure bidded by only one person, wins, at that cost.

Pretty simple, and they would make a bit of cash ;)

Hmm..

That's not true.

Even if someone then comes along and bid 87c, as long you guys get to be the group with lowest bidders stands to win too. Provided you are the first bidder in the group.

here is what is says from the site,

"If we cannot find any bid value in an auction that has a single bidder, then we will first look for the lowest bid value with the least number of
bidders, and the successful bidder will be the first (by time) bidder in that group.

Members A, B, C bid $0.20 (lowest with 3 bidders)
Members D, E, F bid $0.35 (3 bidders but not smallest group)
Members G, H bid $0.61 (lowest bid with smallest group)
Members I, J, K, L bid $0.97 (4 bidders not smallest group)
Members M, N bid $1.96 (small group but not lowest)

In this example, member G will be the successful bidder"

Yeah guys, you really have to be familiar with Ebay in order to not get fooled by this kind of auction.

Any good auctioneer knows that in order to get prices high, you have to start low. For example, you can search for an Ipod, and find one for under 30 dollars. This may sound too good to be true... it is. Look at the time left. It will most likely have 3-4 days. In that time, the price could skyrocket, probably going over retail price.

12 Uncancelled Wynns? I'm going to say the price will be well over 40 dollars by the time the auction is over.

A good strategy (if you are serious about buying a product) is to either set an automatic bidder, in which case it automatically bids higher than everybody else to a certain extent. You could also watch the item and wait until there are only 2-3 minutes left, and bid your highest. This is when the most bidding will happen, and when the price will shoot up, so be prepared!

Happy bidding,
