A few questions about "Thread"

Hey all,

Sorry to make another thread topic but none of the others seemed to address my queries. I have a few questions about it:

1) Is it impromtu with any thread or is it a gimicked kind ?
2) Does it hurt, what are the risks, can it go wrong or is it safe ?
3) How much is it ?
4) is it available as an instant download or just as a dvd purchase?

Thats about all for now, all help would be appreciated but besides that it looks like an awesome effect and i cant wait till friday for it. Waynes a genius

1) Is it impromtu with any thread or is it a gimicked kind ?
it can be impromptu, for example using loops
but keep in mind, the word impromptu doesnt mean without preperation, infact to perform such trick, use must prepare it with a pactices and outs (if somethings goes wrong)

2) Does it hurt, what are the risks, can it go wrong or is it safe ?
no, it won't hurt you at all, infact it's easily snap off if you stretch it too much

3) How much is it ?
depends, there's alot of IT out there, the best one that common is made from kevlar
you can check it out on your local or online magic shop
PS : Yigal mesika EIT dispenser is pretty good too

4) is it available as an instant download or just as a dvd purchase?
if you're talking about the techniques, ys, there's some dvd that theach you that
here are that i know :
Michael ammar - Classic redention 1 (floating dollar bill)
Michael ammar - Easy to thread Miracles (i think there are 3 series of this title)
Daniel Garcia, Justin Miller, Nathan Kranzo - LOOPS

there's a lot more besides that, but those are what i recomnded for beginners

I think he was asking about Wayne Houchin's trick called Thread and not invisible thread.

Every time I search "thread" I fail, can someone answer if it's been answered already?

Will wearing contacts effect the geek style of this?

I know there are two styles, a geek one and a sleight of hand one.
