A flourish in need

Hey Theory11 community! This is my first attempt at an original flourish, I had the idea of a spinning packet going from hand over to the other after watching the falling petals in Kill Bill during the.. third? fight. It's been in the works for about two years, and I am stuck. I can't figure out where to go from here, and it doesn't feel near completion. I'm hoping some of you guys can help give me some inspiration or ideas! Critique on the flourish is of course welcome as well.

Well, I like your foundations. The spinning pack is a neat idea but it doesn't really work by itself. I played around with it for a couple minutes and threw together this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoR356-Sm94&feature=youtu.be
Try adding some individual cards and cuts while the pack is spinning. It doesn't need to be huge, but it's too simple at this point. Sweet ideas though, I like it
