A local performance

Very nice performance. One question though, I myself perform this effect in my stand up shows as well and 40% of the time, the audience look in the cups, usually after the water disappear. How do you deal with this problem?

I would just say, give my volunteer a round of applause as she takes her seat. Then put the cups back into your case. They want to see what's in the cup; Don't give them a chance. Move on with the show. Make like you're running on a limited amount of time so you don't want to dwell on each effect and that there's a lot more material you need to do. Just move onto the next thing when your ending a trick that leaves you a little dirty.
