You executed the sleights quite well, but I fail to see the logic or reasoning behind what you are doing. For a start, why do you have a card selected and then go straight into a different trick?

I always like the kicker ending they think in the middle is going to be the card that just changed but instead its there card. For some reason I like that but I don't need a card selected i could ust go into a straight transpo but thats not my style.

It wasn't bad but didn't make a lot of sense.

I don't think you should mess up the structure of a trick just so you can have an unnecessary kicker.

It's just strange when you say 'pick a card', 'We'll lose the 7, now here's two other cards'. Spectators often have trouble keeping track of 2 cards, 3 is likely to be too much for them, they'll be so occupied trying to remember the cards they'll hardly notice the magic is happening.

Btw these sort of threads would be more appropriate in the Card magic forum not in General Discussion.

I think if you presented it with an "OOOPs, I'm a magician I dont get paid to practice", will suffice for comedy and presentation magicians have been using the I screwed up angle for centuries to produce surprise endings. Presented this way will give you reason enough. I use this exact routine almost to a tee and everyone loves so I must be doing something right or maybe it's just the way I'm presenting it. Your sleights where smooth except the shapeshifter was a little choppy but overall it was fine.
