I hear everybody telling me to join My local Magician Community like the IBM or the SAM, but i live in a very remote area and cont have a local Magic Club. So I did some research and found that the closest one is 2 hours away, I dont have the time or resources to drive that far twice a month. so I was wondering if there were any online communities that I could join.

Any help is deeply appreciated.

*Ahem* I always thought we were a community on this forum. What, are we not good enough for you? :(
Pretty much

This is a great community here I think.

Other online communities:

reddit.com/r/magic (kinda iffy. It's a great community sometimes, but every now and then other post becomes people just asking for revealing a method, or people attacking each other).

The Magic Cafe Forums is a pretty big group with exclusive membership. I'm not a part of it so I won't speak for how good it is.

Alternatively, the Scam School YouTube channel now has a Discord.

I see that your profile pic says your from VA. There are a few IBM rings there: https://www.magician.org/about/local-ibm-rings?state=Virginia

And if you are in the North/Metro DC area, there are a couple in Maryland (though I'm sure driving an additional hour I-95 once a month won't be too fun) https://www.magician.org/about/local-ibm-rings?state=Maryland

I know you said you are too far away to drive to a meeting. Have you attended conventions before? Just curious. They usually last an entire weekend are well worth the time, money and are a lot of fun.
