I've tried quite a few. Most store bought cards here in Australia are either Queens Slipper (Which is Australian but.... very average) or Chinese printed.

I've only found two types that have been really well made compared to the others.

First is EPCC - They have a Chinese printer and the cards are the best I've tried from China. Not the best EPCC cards but certainly very good on the world table of Playing Cards.

Second is a no name brand. I couldn't find who printed them but they are exactly like the absolut vodka decks. Super thin stock (half a bicycle deck almost) , incredible handling - had everything going for them. The only catch was they had used the old USPCC streamline back design (clearly abusing ©) but I could never track down who printed them so whenever I see them in stores, which I haven't in years, I buy them out.

I probably have 100 0r so decks of the later.

TL;DR some brands are really nice but most would argue they are few and far between.
