Its me Cedric Taylor! I've been really working hard and dealing with school these days. Well, since I'm in my final semester of college, I've decided to be a part of this reality show! The catch is guys like me need your votes. And I know there are some heavy hitters going against me, but isn't this why we chose this profession?

I really feel that these threads are like advertising, and I mean nothing bad towards you by saying this. There is already another forum poster who made a thread for himself regarding the same show, and I don't think it is proper for him either. Maybe I'm oddly fashioned; but in nearly every forum I've been apart of, asking for people to vote or use your reference link is frowned upon and isn't addressed; or the poster is ridiculed. Again, I mean nothing bad; and I'm not trying to ridicule you, but these sort of threads don't feel right. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but I never see this stuff being taken well anywhere else; and I don't believe in it myself.

In a way Tsarothpaco they are. What Cedric's thread intends to do, as well as mine, is draw attention to our personal agenda's which has nothing to do with supporting this website, or this community. Sometimes threads like this DO get shut down. Sometimes the people even get banned if they post too many threads that advertise their youtube channels, products, or what not.

The thing that separates Theory11 from just about every other community out there, as you've noticed, is that they actually CARE about the people that support and contribute to their community here. I wouldn't dream of posting this on the Cafe. (If you notice, I haven't either.) Sometimes theory11 mods and team turn blind eyes to threads like this if they infrequently come from people who are known contributes to the community here. Cedric is certainly one of those! Cedric has proven his worth time and time again here at Theory11. He contributes to threads, discussions, and the growth of his fellow magicians and does so without really asking much in the return. So, I guess I'm okay with him posting this.

But as I said, I can see how threads like his (and mine) can be considered breaking rules here so I offer you this as an option. If you feel that either of our threads are breaking a forum rule then please utilize the report thread option to call in the mods attention. I will respect what ever course of action they chose to take about it. In the meantime I'm voting for Cedric, and it's my hope that you will as well. I hope I get the chance to work with him on this project!
