Hi guys,

I've been practicing the strike bottom deal for a while now, and in my opinion it's gotten pretty decent by now. My biggest problem at the moment is the noise, as the sound of the bottom deal is much louder than the normal deal, thus making it easy for anyone to notice that I'm dealing bottoms.
Have you got any advice for me on that matter?

Thanks in advance!

Gene Maze’s book covers this problem. But the best tip I can give you is this : The main reason for the noise is that when you’re taking the card out, you angle it upwards a bit too soon. Just try to take the card out at a downward angle. By practicing, you’ll probably be able to make it al,ost completely silent.
