Can you guess the pattern?

Hey guys. Attached is a picture of a deck of cards. It is separated by a "mystery" attribute. Can you guess what it is?

P.S. This is just for fun, you won't win anything except I guess bragging rights if you win.

EDIT:
Huruey came up with a good one. I don't know why but my camera phone took the picture really, really bright. Makes a good challenge though! Here's the picture. Can you guess the property?

According to a complex, computational mathematics algorithm in my mind, the pattern is that there is no pattern... just kidding. I'm stumped-- not sure what the "mystery" attribute to the deck of cards is.

Cheers,

How about values?
Also not all the cards are visable, there are like 2 you can;t see.. Does that have to do with anything?

It doesn't directly have to do with the value but certain values do have the property.

Sorry about those two cards. The one next to the Jack I believe is another Jack. I don't know about the other, sorry. But it has nothing to do with the groups.

Also, just so you guys know, it's not some random thing like "if you add up each 15th card and divide by 25 then add your age, you get half of the number of cards in a deck" or anything like that. It's simply a property that one group has that the other does not.

Default
Are 22 of them from one deck, and the other 30 from a different deck? :p

Haha, I KNEW somebody was going to make that joke! But no, sorry.

Its the direction of the cards, one set is the same either way up, the other set is different depending on which way up it is.
