Number 1: Guardians- I know I'll get some crap about this, but I really like them for cardistry. although their stocks are a little thick and their finish is a little slippery, give em some fanning powder and they'll own any I own. Besides I absoluetly love the design

Number 2: Tally Ho's blue circle backs- Their stocks and finish are the best price you'll get for roughly $2 a pack. Besides the design makes tornado cuts and pirouettes look amazing.

Number 3: Squeezers Bulldogs: -Although they are done being printed, still think they are a good price for what you may find them as. These would be what the children of Bee's and Tally Ho's would look and feel like. They have a slippery finish but it feels nicer than most once its broken in. The stocks are roughly the size of Tally Ho's. One main problem theough is that its one-wayed, making everything look unsymmetrical.

I happen to very much enjoy Guardians and Centurions. These are both excellent cards for flourishing.

Ellis Island casino cards I believe are the second best, but those are harder to find.

It really depends on what type of flourshing you're into. For me different brands of cards I like to use for different flourishes. For me, if you're into fanning, use thinner cards like standard 808 Bikes (ellusionist custom decks are great for fanning). If you're into moves like Eko or Akira, then Tally-Hos pr Bees are great. If you're into aireals, then maybe Wynns.

Tally-Hos are a great all around card for everything.

If you like Pharos, then a thinner card is better suited.

Those are not contradictory statements.

I did not mean to include the thinner part when I recommended bikes for fanning. They are just thin by nature, and you can fan with any thickness cards. Ellusionist decks are very thick, but some of the best fanning cards. I meant to say in general bikes are good for fanning, and as a thinner card they are excellent for Fa'ro shuffles.

I am not an English major, so I don't proof read everything I write, and being able to type 60 words per minute, I don't feel the need to go back and double check my work like I'm posting a thesis. I get really sick of nit-pickers who point out every little mispelling and incorrect terminology . "For the 293rd time it's Fa'ro, not PHARO, you noob!" Are you one of those people who jump on people for pronouncing Nuclear "New-Q-Lar" instead of "New-Clear"?

Actually FARO shuffles depend on how the cards are cut.

And I don't know how thin playing cards will help your liking of ancient Egyptian Kings...

-Kevin

Maybe Ancient Egyptian Pharos liked to practice their faros to show other Pharos their faros.

:p
