I wanted to see how my dealer procedures looked on camera. You can't see my shuffle procedure in the beginning, but it's a basic riffle, riffle, strip, riffle, cut.

How's that look to the guys who are in poker croo?

Not the angle you would expect players to be watching you from is it?

I am confused. What exaclty are you practicing for?

If you are wanting to be a poker dealer, say... in a casino or card room, then:

1- make your shuffles faster
2- spin the card more as you deal them out so they don't have a "shooting towards the player" feel, but more of a "floating towards the player" feel.
3- work on your accuracy of the deal
4- keep your discard pile away from the community cards, lower in position right at the base of your deck holding hand and keep the community cards in a line in the middle of the table, not diagonal the way you dealt them.

... and as the previous poster said... why such a low view? Even the person sitting in position 2 would not be resting his head on the table while watching you deal...
