Center Deal help

Hello, recently i purchased Jason Englands excellent 1on1 on the 'Center Deal', im really enjoying the move so far and i think its going to be a move that i will be practicing for a long time, but i have came across a slight problem..i dont want to go into much detail about this because i dont want to reveal how the deal is done, for that i beleive someone should buy Jason Englands 1on1 or Marlos excellent false deals booklet (Forgot the name, but the little booklet is a whole chapter in 'Revolutionary Card Technique') I will try and say my problem without revealing too much. When i try to push out the card i want to deal, i end up EVERY SINGLE TIME to be pushing the top half of the deck over and i can never seem to get the single card to ride out on its own unless i fix the deck by bringing my other hand over. Its hard to describe but basically i cant do the GET READY for the deal with ONE hand but i can do it with TWO. Do you guys (Without giving too much away, of course) know of any way i can let the center card ride out on its own with ease without dragging half the deck out with it?

I know this problem could probably be solved by personal experience but it would be nice if someone could give me a head start and guide me along.

Had the same problems here. I solved it by not keeping TOO MUCH pressure with the thumb, because it is i guess, counter intuitative to what the fingers are trying to do. Keep a secure grip, but light at the same time. Its confusing I know, but try it.

other tips:

- Use a broken in deck, not a new one, but not a super worn one.

- Use the index finger as an advantage as a securing mechanism for the rest of the deck.

- Dont try to push the card out too far, because over extending the fingers that do the work will make the top half slide, lead to increased chances of you losing the break where the desired cards are and cause excessive finger flash.
