I think he means, does Kenner buy all of them for 200-300 dollars a deck on eBay like most people have to do.

That was quite clever of Chris to get those Jerry's "back in the day". You'd think he has already foreseen that the day would come when Jerry's would go for so high. He could have bought so many of another deck and he chose to buy Jerry's. Likewise, so many of other decks could have stopped production and sell for so much right now, and it had to be the Jerry's. Wow.

Or better yet, how did he "know" that Jerry's would be worth so much in the future?

he probably just liked how they feel and they were cheap too, look at dan and dave they did the same thing, probably have around the same amout as ck.

If I'm not mistaken I think CK gave Dan and Dave the Jerries that they have. He figured they would use them more than he would so he let them have quite a bit of his "stash."
