Classic pass and the right ring finger (some advice please)

Hi guys! I'm wondering if you use your right ring finger to "hinge" the lower packet when you execute the classic pass to decrease the "dip"? This is how I've been doing it, but lately I've been reading Card College and watched Jason England's download, and this is not mentioned there. My pass is quick but with quite a lot of finger movement at the front (when my ring and little fingers are bending to hinge the packet). Is there a right way of doing this, and have I been doing it wrong? What do you guys think? :)

If I do any hinging I press down the corner with my left thumb and lift with my right index finger. I mainly rotate my left wrist instead of hinging too much, but I do a bit. I don't know if this is 'right' or not. Do whatever looks best.

In my opinion the right hand fingers should not move at all during a pass. The right hand provides the cover and a pivot point for the bottom packet (between the index finger and thumb), the left hand does all the work.

Any finger movement on the right hand is a tell that 'something' has happened.
