Hey Conjurers,
So a friend recently gave me some coins to work with, among them I picked up 5 Kenyan 1 Shilling coins. They are beautiful, shiny, light coins. The problem I'm having is that they are super slippery.
I have noticed with many nickle plated coins that they are very slippery. Is this kind of thing common knowledge among coinworkers?
Are there other metals that have similar difficulties and are there some solutions to making coins like these more workable?
