It's been years since I had a coin unique and decided to add it to my repertoire again so I got a new one (£1, 1p) and it's not how I remember.
The penny doesn't slot in to the pound very easily, it requires a bit of a push. I didn't get a cheap one, it was £30 ($60-75). If I close my hand around them the penny gets stuck going back in and the old swirling glass vanish doesn't work either.
My question is, do brand new coin unique's have to be worn in? The edges are still very crisp from where they've been cut and that's why the penny won't vanish on it's own.
