All of those things could mix. You just need to do better than they did.

Yeah from what I've heard is that nothing really had a reason for being in there. The dancers, the plot, and the fact that Criss kept trying to shove his fathers death down every bodies throats. Yes we get it, your dad died many years ago... It's sad, but not something you should talk about at every chance you get.

Also heard from a few others that it pretty much sucked. I think Penn went to say that it was depressing and pretty much made him want to take a long shower to wash away the memories of it.
