What do you guys think of theis fabulos dvd?

I just got it yesterday, and im already inlove with the material it has!

My faverotie effect would be Royal Transpo, and next to it I would say some of the vanishes and changes.

what are your opinions?

Well, Its amazing.

Trinity, uses a few sleights and he gets right into them, its so cool and if you know some coins work already it shallbe easy for you.

Neo purse frame, is a little bit harder, for two reasons, you need a frame that a jumbo can fit through and Shoot teaches it.

Right on cue, is very cool and it can be done sleevless, you have a card selected, and you show a buch asking if its their card, looking like you failed you produce a pool ball from a fan.

Royal Transpo, is my new faveorite card trick. Its easy, impromptu, no gimmick andthe set up is right in their face, you can set it up secretly but they wont understand the effect.

Slide, is one vanish and when it is taught they also show a coins across using the sleight, and I would say thjis is one of the hardest things on the dvd.

Coin Exercise, is fairly hard unless you can conceal coins very well.

Shoot shot, is a bunch of ways to use a Muscle Pass....in a Wither Vanish, and a few others.

Pits to Pocket. you have a singed card end up in their pocket, havent tried it, but it looks easy.

Thanks. Is any of it gimmicked? Would one need any special props beside a jumbo and a purse frame?

The only gimmicks you need/want to have would be what you listed and a double face deck.
Why say deck, when you only need one double face card at time? its better to hve a deck and yes you only need one at a time, to do one of the effects.

It's on my wishlist. Can anybody review the effects and teaching?

Dan Watkins has a pretty detailed recap of both DVDs on his web site:

...If you guys like Apollo's coin work, then you might want to see more of his pickpocketing. :) He is starring in a new TV show on TruTV (use to be CourtTV) which is the US version of the BBC show "The Real Hustle".

I'm not sure on the air date for the first episode, but I believe the show starts in the first quarter of the year.

For more ideas by Apollo Robbins, be sure to check out his stuff on the following DVDs:

* Troy Hooser's Charming Chinese Challenge
* Chappy Brazil & Charles Bach's Watch Steal DVD
* Coinvention Inaugural Collection

...and you can still get both of his lecture notes from Shoot Ogawa's site:

Enjoy,

Looks like it airs on Jan 22nd.

"truTV gives viewers first-person access into how an elite team of hustlers can steal a person’s money, possessions and even your identity in THE REAL HUSTLE, premiering Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) with back-to-back half-hour episodes. With hidden cameras capturing their every move, these scam artists will pull off some of the most brazen cons ever seen on television. Apollo Robbins, expert pick-pocket and personal security consultant; Ryan Oakes, sleight-of-hand and psychology specialist; and Dani Marco, professionally trained actress skilled in distraction techniques, demonstrate audacious and notorious scams on unsuspecting marks. This triad will also offer insider knowledge into the mechanics and psychology of how a con is executed."
