Dan White: The Supernaturalist

  1. Hey guys,

I have heard a lot of good things about Dan White's Discovery Channel special "The Supernaturalist", but I can't find any place to get or stream it from so I can watch it.

Anybody know of a source that has it, where I can either order it from or watch it online?

Also, what other specials can you recommend? I have watched all of David Blaine's stuff (I believe.) Are there any more good magic specials out there?
  2. Anything by Derren Brown is amazing.
I've also wondered if Supernaturalist is available
  3. Wondering if Dan has a copy...ha ha. Perhaps he could make copies and sell it or stream it somehow, but my guess is that the TV channel bought the rights to it or something along those lines with a contract. I could be wrong though.
  4. I second the motion that he is the best, David Copperfield and Penn and Teller are the only performers that could ever compete with him in my book.
  5. Oh, yeah, I didn't but it was a few pages in. Anyway, enjoy.
  6. It's really a great special, in my opinion.
  7. I thought it was a tad too "set up". The journey of the monk is great, though, it's easy to see how they've tried to spike the entertainment with that story with the foreigners that disappeared and the brother getting his memory wiped, and then the freaking monk actually levitates and Dan has to act? Terrible!

But I enjoyed the rest - the street magic was great.
