Daniel Madison rip-off?

My little brother came up to me the other day and showed me a video that he wanted from that Magic Geek guy. I went to his site to get it for him as a gift and I noticed that they sell a DVD called "Scorched". Is it just me or is this a total rip off of Daniel Madison's Burn with the only difference being some flash paper?

No, man. Similar concept, but Burn is way cooler. Don't know why you would buy a DVD for this. Maybe, if it was still in their handwriting, but clearly not.

Yeah I know I already own Burn and its one of my coolest effects. Heck even I like looking at it and I know how its done. I still have to try everything in the book though lol

Haha, I totally noticed that too. d+M look-a-like at the most ironic time ever.

In regards to the effect, it is totally different. Plus the video isn't in black & white (which must mean something).

The effect it self looks awkward to perform.
Burn may be better, but was not the first type of magic that involved burnt cards. So don't go comparing every fire effect to Burn.
